PAlexandria, Aye, I do die more often on this char then my others but he's also a lot cheaper to re-equip *smiles*, and the dying doesn't bug me as much as it used to....just hate trying to get me mount ressed.

I'm always up for some exploring! just let me know where and when.
Way cool! I'd suggest today but Ches is down. :[

What times do you play? I play odd times whenever but rarely very late at night (as in after midnight).

Guess we will have to recruit some Veterinarians into the teams. Makes for some great tactical strategies, especially without the ethereal mounts.

Re: Anyone up for a Challenge?

There are a few in the Royal Britannian Guard that have been wanting to get something like this going for a while. So, maybe we can get an army up to battle ya with..with the rules you stated above. Let me or Angus know what yall work up and we will put the call out in the guard and see what we can get. Great idea btw!

*laughs* Thats a good point Winfield! Now the main site that I scoured from Europa did not use mounts during their wars, except maybe for their officers....now of course they have attained a much larger scale then what we would be talking about. The guild I refer to alone had over a 150 characters (note: I did not say members, I realize they most likely have multiple chars), and they were warring about 50 guilds....I believe CoRE automatically has all CoRE Guilds war one another, but to me thats still quite impressive.

Sir Sweetleaf I have set-up camp across the bay from your wonderful city. If any of your folks ever get the urge to run just GM gear either for a hunt together or even some good natured sparring I'd gladly welcome it.

Real quick background on my char. Kegan is a mercenary who has come to some unspecified agreement with the city of Cove, he keeps the orcs at bay, the undead in the cemetary, and clears out the surronding woods of wandering monsters and bandits...in exchange for land & ???, don't want to give to much away *grins*. But he will also occasionally except work that will take him all over the realm.

Perhaps in the spirit of role-play at some point there could be a border dispute between Cove and GG ? or waterway rights? I think theres alot of potential there.....

On those rare occasions when Chessy is actually up please feel free to stop at Cove and give Kegan a holler, He actually makes at least one nightly round from the Orc Fort to the crossroads between GG, Silvervale, & Compassion...and I'm sure he will find his way to the Taphouse sooner or later, he loves a good bootle of ale or a jug of cider!

Re: Anyone up for a Challenge?

My only question/request would be for a post of the official ruleset for these engagements. I reviewed the ruleset for Europa RP/PVP and liked what I saw, but this is your challenge. So if you will, maybe post what the ruleset will be so I can take it to my people. Thank You.

Also, I agree on the unlimited potential between or camps given the lay of the land. If you are fimilar with Guardians Gate stop by Ottersrun Taphouse, and have a cold one. There may be someone available to spar with...

Re: Anyone up for a Challenge?

For a rule-set this is what I've been running with:

GM crafted armor only (no runics used)

No insurance (of course insurance is up to the individual), just stating what I've been doing.

No Arties, No Stat/Skill Jewelry, no clothing that gives bonuses, no talismans, or any other item that improves a char's natural abilities. ( I wear a holiday timepiece and I'll gladly display it upon request or remove it for a fight).

No explosion/conflagoration potions

No area spells or summons

For PvM I've been staying mounted but for PvP I'd like to see it be on foot, but I'm willing to discuss that.

No enhanced bandages.

Pffftt, Basically its just your char and the abilites that it would have with nothing on, and then gearing up with some GM crafted armor and weapons!

Make sure the other person wants to fight, and isn't in the middle of something, and no looting (unless you want to use a specially marked bag and throw some stuff in it, I think CoRE uses a yellow bag).

I'm most likely missing something, doing this from work, but let me know how it sounds so far!

Re: Anyone up for a Challenge?

Hi TattooedLioness, when I mention GM armor/weapons I just mean player crafted gear, made without runics or any other form of assistance.

GM refers to the title, Grand Master, for a character with 100 points in any skill.

Not a bad question at all.

Dang-it, didn't see your post at first Sir Sweetleaf. My house is just a little NE of Cove's gate, a old style L-shaped house right next to a pond and then about 2 screens north of that is another house I own. Guild name is Mercenary of Cove (lame I know, but I made it in a hurry), MoC is the abbreviation.

Re: Anyone up for a Challenge?

Glad to have you Onis, unfortunately I haven't been on much over the last few days, but hopefully I can get back on track now.
