Orange Thread/Cloth?

There is a vendor in the top of the house directly west of luna bank selling orange thread for 1.5 million per 2. It looks like a blaze hue. Anyone know about this? I may buy one just to have it, but not sure where they come from..

**Edit**
Sorry, this is on Sonoma

Re: Orange Thread?

I would be careful it could be a money sink for scripters to launder money. If you have that much money I would be happy to take a bit off you, as I am a poor nerfed warrior on sonoma.

:-P

P.S. Welcome to uoforums!

Re: Orange Thread?

I can't think of a legal way someone could get blaze thread off the top of my head. Unless they use a tokuno dye charge on it, but I can't see that happening except on accident. I'd avoid buying it myself.

Re: Orange Thread?

Is it a true blaze or did someone just dye some flax orange with a dye tub and made thread. I wonder if you can dye flax. Just guessing.

Re: Orange Thread?

Orange thread
step 1 pick cotton
step 2 dye cotton with normal dye tub
step 3 spin thread

Re: Orange Thread?

This is an orange that is so close to blaze it is amazing. It is not available in the 2D color chart or in KR color chart. Tried all the oranges and it doesn't come out that bright. Wondering if it wasn't done when we had 3D colors available as there were many more hues available. From what I understand this was found at an IDOC on Sonoma today.

Was wondering if the cotton was dyed with tokuno but cotton isn't an 'arti' ... perplexing to me ...

Re: Orange Thread?

You can spin thread with cotton? I thought it made yarn balls.

Re: Orange Thread?

Nope, cotton makes thread, wool makes yarn.
