A question about Quivers

What exactly is damage modifier? and how does it work?

If I make a Quiver of Lightnight for example it holds 50% Physical and 50% Energy damage, does this stack on top of the bow I am using? So if I use a GM bow with 100% physical damage will I know have 150% pysical and and 50% Energy?

I dont know if this helps, but its all I could find relating to your question

'There are 5 types of craftable quivers:

* Elven Quiver - 10% Damage Increase, 30% weight reduction
* Quiver of Fire - 10% Damage Increase, 50% physical damage, 50% fire damage, 30% weight reduction
* Quiver of Ice- 10% Damage Increase, 50% physical damage, 50% cold damage, 30% weight reduction
* Quiver of Blight - 10% Damage Increase, 50% physical damage, 50% poison damage, 30% weight reduction
* Quiver of Lightning - 10% Damage Increase, 50% physical damage, 50% energy damage, 30% weight reduction

All but the Elven Quiver will override the damage type of your bow. Only tailors will be able to make quivers, but they will need to find the appropriate recipe before doing so.'

Yes this answers most of my question. Thank you Tabbitha. Although I still don't understand what the Damage Modifier % is all about.

Re: A question about Quivers

Let me take a stab at it. Lets make it easy. Your bow does 100% physical damage. You equip the quiver of fire. Now your bow will do 50% physical and 50% fire damage. So equipping the quiver of fire and then hunting ice elementals would be extremely helpful.

Re: A question about Quivers

Same scenario Tony now your wildfire bow does 50% physical and 50% fire. However it is classified as an artifact so may not work this way

Re: A question about Quivers

Thanks for the input merth. I was thinking the quiver actually overrides the bow's damage type. Just wasn't sure

Re: A question about Quivers

The Chaos damage on the quiver of elements does a random percent of a random element... I think...

e.g. - One shot might be 50% cold and 50% fire, then your next shot might be 70% physical and 30% energy.

Re: A question about Quivers

Not sure Brom but I think it is 100%. Just random on which one it picks.
