since uo likes to nerf they should look into necros last 4 duels i got in went like this strangle painspike my char being mage wasnt anything i could do heard others talking about this problem as well what yalls thoughts?

Oh man, did they ACTUALLY make it seem as if... I don't know... the converse to something has a better shot at winning than an uber-decked-out Mage (or whatever).

Basically:

Necro Curses <<< Paladins Remove Curse

Suprise suprise, fruit is no longer a bane to Necros anymore.

Drop the fruits and pick up a skill.

Necros are a pain and a mediocre necro will beat any good mage in a duel.

Thats why I run 80 poison and 40 chiv + 11 from jewels just for remove curse.

Yeah it actually beats the hell out of having 120 ninja imo, watching those DP fields rip people up while they try to raid my despise or harri is hilarious.

devine fury > strangle...high fire and poison resist...

4/6 chiv warrior are almost impossible to kill with a necro 1v1. Non-necro mages tend to be easier because thier template is usually Tactics/parry or some other hybrid. A mage with bleed/poison/strangle will always beat a mage without it. If you want to beat a necro on a non necro mage. I suggest poison/tactics so you can bleed and DP. Or some template that has the ability to disrupt spells.

Otherwise, necros own mages and warriors can very easily own most warriors. Problem is, there are more mages in the game. So it is wise on your mage to have one way of disrupting thier spells since necro is almost 80% offensive spells with the best disrupting spells.

Necros make me LoL when their strangle doesnt work and they just run off and precast it again, while wearing a corpse skin proof armor set, and keeping DP, magic missle, fireball spam going.

They're looking into un-nerfing apples due to the fact that everyone is strangle happy, or looking into doing something in regards to strangle.

They are aware of this issue from my understanding.\

edit: My scribe mage runs with 40 chiv and does alright in terms of being able to remove curse. He does succeeds like 85% of the time.
