Rare colored parots?

My guildmate recently sold two gold colored parots for 50 mil. He said he couldnt beleive it some player in brit was looking for "rare gold parot" he said he might have them but he crapped his pants when she offered 50 mil a peice for them. I am kind of lost I didn't think there were rare colors.

While shopping in Luna I saw a green parot and a blaze parot for sale. The blaze was for 60 million and the green for 19 million. Am I going nuts or somthing? I happen to have three of the gold colored ones. I looked up on stratics and they said rarer colors come from peerless loot. But they didnt say which colors were rare. Im totally confused here as some of my parots could be worth a lot. yet I also don't want to find out its a scam or rumor some one made up about rare colors.

Could not even begin to tell you what the percentages of drop rate are on these but I have personally never seen the grey/lt blue? or the blaze

The light green is the only one I've seen so far. Checked my box of parrots last night. Don't have any of those.

Woops.... I... think... I.... may... have... trashed a few of those before.

I could probably throw the word "quite" in between "trashed" and "a" in the above sentence.

Well, I wasn't going to be the FIRST to say it, but I threw out one of those gold seagulls a couple days ago. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.......

At least I'll try to hang onto them now. I would have never believed that people pay gold for them...wow.

Ack, so have I! I never knew these could be rare at all. I remember throwing a bag with about 30 in it though I cant remember exactly all their colours. I got them from an IDOC - Should we laugh or cry?

Is there a dark purple (worthless?) and a light purple (worth lots of money?), or is there just one shade of purple?

I believe there is a dark one that is worthless. Atleast, that's what I'm going to tell myself, and say all of them I threw away were dark purple and worthless... yes, that's what I did! *glances back up at the 7 rare colors and strongly remembers having atleast 4 in his pack at some time, attempts to hide a whimper in a laugh*
