The difference between
UO and most (or all) other MMO's out there is there really is no direction at all in
UO. You can do whatever, whenever (albeit, die a lot if you attempt to do harder things early). Whereas most other games guide you along the way, kind of leading you in the places/directions you "should" be going,
UO throws you in the middle of the world to fend for yourself (not a bad thing).
There's no "point", there's no "beating" or "winning"
UO, there's only being IN Sosaria.
You can do whatever pleases you.
