Ok, so right now im sitting here clicking the make last button to train alchemy. im at 54% taking it to gm. the reason im doing it manually is because xxxxx is down and my uo assist doesnt allow xxxxxxx to work. ive tried everything. i dont mind doing it manually if its WORTH it. reason i started doing it was because i loved the thought of throwing explosion pots at the enemy im a roleplayer btw. but looking at stratics it seems that i dont get the bonus on how much hp is healed etc from a heal pot. and how good my chance of curing poison is etc from a cure pot, even if i have gm skill!! and will the str pots do nothing more, and dex? id really like to know as im wondering.... is this all worth it???

Dude believe me its worth it... I'm Gordon Acker.. *Points at his sig* One of the orginal bombers! And believe me tis grand! IE: Its great to use conflags on enemy set ups. Why? It causes em all to take damage and mages could fizzle. And 9/10 they run because after the conflag comes like 5 greater explosions.
Believe me alchy be worth it!

how much damage does an explode pot do with 100 alchemy and 50% pots increase?

Thanks a lot Gordon. Ive not heard of you though, which guild are you in? Id already thought of that conflag and pot explo pot bombardment idea, good to know that it works I love the extra heal points you get from a heal pot too. does it increase how much dex and str you get from pots though?

Phix atm i have 85 alchemy and i tend to do between 25-30 damage at the moment depending on my enemies resists. with 100 it should be 28-33ish. I dont know about the enhancement ones. I dont know if it would be any good for proper pvp, it works in rp pvp because when you fight armys they bunch together so congflags and explo pots are handy. and you can paralyze a target and get a combo off, like, explo pot, explo, e bolt. which is nasty. where as in proper pvp people tend to have a get out clause from paralyze.

i find my para, dbb pot, FS combo works well

I cant seem to lob two pots quick enough, the first one seems to knock them out of the para before the second explodes, by mili secs every time. how you lobbing them fast enough?

The thing i like about my combo is that its a sure thing, as long as your close enough to target when you paralyze them. so your para, then lob a pot, cast explo and target it, then you get about a sec to start casting e bolt, then you get to release it whilst there on the run

Potion lobbing is a skill, it takes abit of time to get used to but once you do you can do it rather well... And when you learn the time of pots.. IE: Greater is gonna take 3 secs to toss that at the enemy, quickly followed by conflag which is instant.

Also if you wanna be a lamer you can set up a macro... Have it toss explo, conflag, explo, explo, ect. You just gotta work out how to set it up.. I'm a fan of the "Lob it yourself"

Im more of a fan of DIY aswell. so wont be setting up a macro. And, your right, its definately worth it, vesper fought GRD and BOC the other night, heavily out numbered as per usual but we sent up our defenses so that it would be explo pots galore! Between me and one other alchemist we killed a !!!! load of them. was brilliant, and the battle was won!!!

Ah that was you tossing em? Just one word of advice.. Watch freindly fire... You killed two Kaldorians... I think you got Gorn and Ed...
But yea GRD tends to form up alot at points and thats the time to conflag, You lot (vesper) do that alot, so lobbing a conflag messes up your mages decently.
