I think I'll work on those buildings with the tavern and the fort a bit.I think I'll also rework the mage's shop area a little since I saw I lost a table already in there. Actually all of the houses could use a little tweaking to optimize them, but eh.. I'm lazy now I finally had some ideas for the hospital as well (thanks Decardo) I'll do it in some more marble to go with that temple next door. | Guest | Re: Marble Island Facilities The isle is in a very strategic spot for control of trade from britain to vesper and trinsic. if control could be gained of the whole archapalago, trade could be effected through diplomacy guile and sheer underhandedness. orc raiders from the cove .. fort pushing the trade south ...pirates forcing the channels between the fen of the dead and the isles ...making our isles a *safe haven*.. especially if enacted as an independent *nutral* nation.... tradehouses opened ..small tithes for *recovered cargos* the possabilities are endless if done properly. Small watch towers on the other isles could be warrented as protectorates.....a study of tha maps of the area will show you what i speak of. and in a simpler form ..trade to the great city of britain by .. sea could be brought to a standstill...... |

![]() ![]() | Re: Marble Island Facilities well, I'm currently holder of most of the houses we have there. can't really be taking on another building at the moment tbh because we still have the naelothian library... we do have one other building that might be worth also that much if we sold it, but that 18x18 is in a rather convenient spot in Tokuno near the moongate and by the Zen gardens and roadside But, I think that it might be nicer if it was other folks that actually got the other buildings on the island after all Gives more reason for folks to be there after all. If someone also found the owner of the sandstone, and the one with the old tower, that would also be interesting. The tower could be replaced with a different size building to use the space there a bit more efficiently. On another note, We might also want to think of a new name for the town then? I'd been calling it Tir Na Nog for a long time, for quite specific reasons, but since we've been changing the purpose of the place, those reasons no longer apply... Up to you guys really on how to proceed ![]() I can tell you that the other owners on the island seem to be nice folks (after all, I did convince 2 to go along with me and my wacky ideas..) the sandstone and classic tower owners I've never met tho.
