Given all the interest in bows and carpentry lately, felt like we could all use a chart that displays all the benefits of wood enhancing. This chart is presented in two formats. Thumbnail is for printing (or CLOSE up viewing), and a smaller forum version.

What does HPR and HLL stand for in that chart?

Thank You For The Chart I Posted It On My Wall

The asterisks on the chart indicate inputs I have made for FoF questions.
1) Why does frostwood give fewer benefits, same resists as bloodwood?

2) What ARE the heart wood random properties. From TC, I can tell you it is NOT all the possible from all the woods. AND it only gives one of the two abilities (either resists or an ability, never both)

3) Also, I have asked what ARE the ranges for the runic kits? I have a chart all made up and ready to be filled in once we get the ranges. If anyone knows of a resource with listed ranges for fletching / carp runics, I sure could use em!

How was the quality? Anything I need to tweak to make it print better?

Personal experience in enhancing BOWS (all kinds, Archery based weapons only, no staffs, bokutos, etc.).

Chance to succeed:

Oak: Only used bows with 90+ luck - about 20% success

Ash: w/10%SSI - 30% w/20%SSI - 20% w/30%SSI - 5%

Yew: w/0-5%HCI - 70% w/5-10%HCI - 65% w/10-15%HCI - 40%

Bloodwood: attempted only 1 bow, w/success

Heartwood: attempted 3 bows, 2/3 success

Frostwood: attempted 2 bows, 1/2 success

I've enhanced tons of bows, mostly with Yew as it had the best % chance and decent mods (DI + HCI). Ash was the second most used (for SSI) and the bows I've enhanced that had 30% SSI (bringing them to 40% SSI if successful) have all but broke, but the lower the original SSI, the better the chance (duh).

Other properties and the amount of them didn't really play a factor as much as I've enhanced bows with 1-5 properties of varying intensities with or without the mod from the type of wood being used on it with the same relative success.

Even though it shouldn't matter (and it didn't) I attempted with and without a fletching talisman just to see and there was no difference.
