I once recall a very well known player telling me one of his characters was more or less unkillable unless he allowed them to die - this character played in both Trammel and Felucca and was played by a very very good pvper.

My curiosity has always been what that template was?

This was before the samurai expansion pack but after AoS etc etc.

I saw him fight once in a rpvp situation and it took maybe 8-12 of us to take him down[ I was young and my character at the time wasnt "finished" - just realised my characters will never be finished] as he just seemed impossible to down - eventually I think we cornered him between two houses and he couldnt physically push through us anymore [this was in Felucca obviously]

ANy thoughts on what it could have been? Speculation?

He wasnt giving out any damage that I could see either.

For in rp situations.. lichform was pretty damn good a while back..
My guess this would have been a axer/necro/Mage combo with SS to heal while mortalled.. also healing... played right and its damn good..

as long as your quick with macros and confortable with your character and experienced they are all industrstable

More than likely he was a mage with 5/6 casting, with a suit that had a ton of mana/hp regen.

This was before there was a 2 casting cap on magery and if you had that 2 dagger you could achieve insane casting speed. Of course, such a template no longer exists, but if he was running what I think he was running, this template was literally unkillable if you had the right gear.

Hence the nerf stick being brought down on it. Although it took a long while for it to get in.

This template was worse than the wand wielding chiv evade mages from a year ago.
