I need to build a stage!

Hello again friends.

I'm building a theatre for people to perform plays and whatnot, and the design is going fairly well, but I've run into a few hitches and need some advice.

No matter how hard I look online, I can't seem to find any way to build a raised stage other than just using stacks of raised gozas. I've tried that but it's hard to move around on, and every time I customize the house, or use a teleporter, 2 gozas from each stack vanish!

So I wondered if anyone here had an idea or better way of building a large, raised stage that can be walked on.

Also, I have a balcony on the third floor with an opening so the stage on the second floor can be seen. However when one is on the second floor near the stage, because of the lack of floor on that part of the third floor, both floors are shown simultaneously. Seeing the third floor walls while being on the second floor cuts off much of the floor and makes it hard to see.
Is there any way to prevent this so that each floor is shown independently of the other? Some kind of fake floor?

Anyway, any advice is very welcome! Please help!

The guild EA&A has a theatre near Skara, maybe pay them a visit for inspiration?

Another idea: Have a look at the Spiral-Staircase-guide on Stratics Home&Castles.
They use half-height walls for the turnings - maybe the technique can be adapted for a whole stage? It still uses gozas but only one per square.
