Any succesful KR-downloaders ?

Still can't get KR downloaded successfully - might give the getright a try or else hope that they issue it on cd as seems now to be the plan.

What have you tried so far then ?

and yes a cd is imminent.

Have tried the official UO link several times and each time when I go to unzip there is an error message due to missing files it seems. Also tried the fileplanet link but the download never seems to start (I know theres a delay/queue if you arent a paid up member of the site but have waited for half an hour with nothing happening).

Am somewhat frustrated

downloaded mine from fileplanet and it took over 7 hours, (that was for beta) then my beta download patched for some time when it went gold. After picking to download I got a screen to select which server/nearest country to download from. Choosing Europe I was given an approx start time, was 27 mins I think. I then got a download manager programe sent to my pc once that was installed I got a countdown timer till the download finally started. Once downloaded I selected run and it loaded fine.

Luna's pc was downloaded from EA site after going gold and took all night as well. But on running got the file missing error. After a second download hers worked.

Mord running vista premium had a nightmare time. Downloaded from EA as he could not successfully get the download manager to run from fileplanet. Yet again an all night download but on running had a dll file missing in direct X, despite him having direct X 10. Unable to get it from microsoft site after many days trying and unwilling to go to any other site to download it we decided he would have to wait for a CD to be released. You prob have guessed how we sorted after many days frustration, sad it took us days to come up with the idea. Save missing file from my pc and drop it into KR folder on Mords. Worked a dream and KR can now run (all be it very lagged) on all 3 PCs.

I wish everyone having the KR download nightmare well, it sure can be a mighty headache.
