Which are better: Pirates or Ninjas?

I'll stay out of this debate but at the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 pre-show we went to there were tons of costumes. Mostly pirates, of course, but there were 2 ninjas there to stand up for their side!

Then again....Ninjas make that *wishhhh* *woushhhhh* *tschingg* *cut air*
sounds, when they move or hit. (at least in my idealistic version of a ninja)....

(PS: if you cross pirates and ninjas, you come close to "piranjas" !!!)

There is a historical account of western-style pirates encountering Samurai once upon a time in the Pacific Ocean, and the pirates won that encounter. Ninjas might have been more difficult, but would probably have suffered the same fate.
