New Haven Updates
Added several new NPE Quests:
- Tracking
- Archery
- Ninjitsu
- Fencing
- Hiding
- Stealth
- Mining
- Tinkering
- Blacksmithy
Rewards from the New Player quests have had their power adjusted. This change will apply to existing items as well as new items.
The mayor of New Haven, Amser, will now appear in New Haven. She will tell the player character about the town
Added animal and mongbat spawns in Haven forests
Hamato, the Bushido instructor, will now buy and sell Bushido spellbooks.
The accelerated gain area spam has been replaced by a sound effect and a buff icon
Undead spawn in Old Haven has been increased and the difficulty adjusted
More Healers wander in Old Haven and the surrounding forests
Brigand camps have been spotted on the isle!
Lyle and Sadrah have survived the disaster and returned to New Haven
Shops in Haven have hung their signs
Escort quests are now available in New Haven
**Bright Lights**...New Player Quest.
A very helpful,simple quest,called Bright Paths,helps to get you started in the game of Ultima Online,and/or the new client .
" Lady Gwen " leads you gently through your first tentative steps,for those totally new to the game.
If your a more seasoned player,but unfamiliar with this type of client,you too can benefit from Lady Gwen's help.
For those unable to partake in the quest [ for any reason] this step by step walk through with screenshots, will still make it possible for anyone to learn the basics of getting started in UO KR.
This guide is the same what ever profession you make,and Lady Gwen leaves you safely at New Haven town, where she passes you on to the relevant guide to continue your skills.
After you successfully complete each set of instructions,you will hear bells ring,before you are given your next task.So be sure to have your sounds on.

After you create your character and arrive at Haven, Lady Gwen will be there to start you off.

Congratulations,you have taken your first steps. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next you will learn how to open your backpack ,and move items into it.
Open any crate to see its Inventory.
You need to remove an item to place in your bag,to hear the next bell.
Now your ready to start your first Quest.
The next section will teach you how to equip yourself to fight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 
Once you have picked up the katana ,you must put it into your backpack,to do the next step. 
You will know you have achieved this step,as the katana will turn orange[ this is the case for all quest items,in UO.]
Now its time to 'talk ' to Hogarth again and receive your reward.

Now you are all equipped to tackle an enemy. 
You need to head NORTH along the path to reach the gate.
Once you reach the gate just walk toward the light and you will transport to the other side.

Now to learn to fight your opponent. 
Once you have targetted your opponent,a ring of gold encircles it as shown here.
Well done,you have achieved your first 'kill'.
Right click the skeleton's corpse,to retrieve any loot he has.

Next you are about to learn the important skill of how to heal yourself.
Then you will go on to your next opponent.

When you locate the healer,approach them till you see the message below
You will be encased in a shaft of healiong light.
Now it is time to find your corpse
Double click to retrieve your goods.

Now you will need to follow my directions,using your radar map and head toward the gate with the electric field.
The gift I gave you will guide you safely to the other side.
You need to get past the Dark Lord,to another electric gate,to get out of Old Haven.
The Dark Knight Challenge isn't in yet - it'll be available in the next few publishes, though.

Follow Lady Gwens directions on the map,where you will find your next mentor to guide you through some more tasks,depending on your profession.
