Advice on best server

For game play now. I would get a hold of the 2D client. You can then enjoy the game.

KR is still in beta. Lots of crashes/bugs to be worked out.

As far as the dashes go. It means either your firewall is blocking it or that you haven't given the KR client to retrieve the information yet.

I personally would consider a move, but I am biased. GL is fun and that's where I play, I hear LS is also good. Plug: If you are into rp, we have a player town on GL with a bunch of houses.

Much appreciated Vepl, i'll try the old client. Such a shame i was loving the updated graphics, still i guess it's something to look forward to. Seems weird i can't delete my characters, maybe it's a tempory glitch.

You have to wait 7 days to delete a character, unfortunatly.

Thnx Adam, i should have thought of that, anyway i've got the retail box 9th anniversary collection [old client] which i had not opened so i'll install that now and see how i get on. Tnx everyone.

there are player towns in Chessy (PaxLair), but I can't find anyone playing anywhere... I've been playing solo for a week. that's why I'm considering a move to the crowder server.

As somebody already mentioned KR is still in Beta, but since the last patch where they changed the gamma to super nova and fixed some bugs and display issues they've also made the CTD when you’re around players at banks then CTD again and again when you try log in with that character even worse. Hopefully the next patch will make some progress with this crash bug.

If you’re finding you keep crashing when logging in with a character. Log in with the 2d client and take him well away from city or town where players won’t cross your path then you should be able to log back in with your character again with KR. Also unmount as there’s a bug since last patch where a mount can end up as a red strip on screen this too will make you CTD when you log in and you’re mounted on a horse that gets glitches like this. Also clearing the character data in the EA folder in My Doc’s helps too if you still CTD out of the city trying to log in.
