Rainbow pearls?

was killing dragons with my archer as i do pretty much every day...trying to get my daily gains...but each time i would skin a dragon or drake corpse for the hides i would get the message " Fishing for Rainbow Pearls you cut away
some scales but they remain on the corpse" ..anyone know what that's all about?

I know there is a quest in New Haven. A man asks you to bring him 6 rainbow pearls and I thought you fished them up on the docks.

That sounds strange, indeed. It may be a bug. Has anyone taken the Collector's quest recently?

i agree if you didnt take the quest might be a bug ..might have to investigate that tonight
