you die and 30 minutes you can't fight?
I die so much it ruins the game for me. Is there no way to change this? Here are some suggestions though i doubt ANY of you would agree.
1. wait 10 minutes to get back in a fight (i dislike this) 2. wait 20 minutes (much better than 10 IF the fight lasts long enough) 3. wait until everybody has returned to their base after a fight. Hopefully some of you agree. Last edited by Omera; 3rd June 2007 at 05:12 PM. |

There are many ways to avoid death, changing the rules will not make you stay alive longer.

If you dont like taking a dirt nap either dont fight or dont be in a fighting type guild, or spend a lot of time practising/learning how to stay alive as an individual and as a guild. There is plenty of scope to role play being injured, getting healed chatting about your battle etc etc. Why is being unable to fight for 30 minutes spoiling the game for you? |

Raul will know exactly what I am saying,as he had this problem a few years back,when running the Crimson CLaw,just as much as I am sure Henry,Vierna and Aly have /had with their guilds. In short TALK to each other. Form an alliance with each other. Improve your game play experience with ....each other !!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck Omera and your Orcs.

Changing the rules so people have less time to wait before they go back to the exact place they died and pick a fight with the exact person that killed them as i've seen people do many times? hah! If anything make the death time last longer!

Tabbitha I have to disagree almost entirely and agree also
![]() Evil Role play needs its own base of operations - like an Island of Outcasts where all the baddies can go hang together and role play - tavern nights, tournaments, markets, trading, walking into town etc etc Evil role play needs a specific agreement ooc between gms. Evil ROle play needs subtlty and not "in your face im a killing machine but dont you dare try and arrest me" Evil role play needs GMs who have the time , imagination and enthusiasm to make it fun for their members. A Tremere can conduct his/her business in town because s/he doenst wear a big sign shouting "I R EVIL MOFO VAMPMOFO HERE TO SUCK YR BLOOD". A big fat smelly green skinned orc is another matter - especially if its been tryign to nibble on your leg for 3 days or mugged you 5 times in the last week ![]() Evil role play needs to find guilds who dont want to just pwnzzor its members and not insta try and pwnnzzor them also. It works both ways. |

Also Tabbitha, vampires and drows who dont follow that spider queen {is it?} can be around humans without wanting to kill everyone in sight. Orcs on the other hand are chaotic evil and cannot be around anyone without wanting to behead them.

I agree partially with a lot of the above, but especially with the Dark Alliance part. Sacked Dreamstone last time round, I believe. If all the orcs, vampires and drow relocated to old Naeloth, it'd really, really good!

Grukthar, I feel your pain. When I was first introduced to the world of RPvP, I was utterly clueless and found myself getting killed a lot, spending most of the fights in deathrobe. However, shortening the timer is not the answer.
There are several ways of avoiding being killed, but having fought alongside you on several occasions, I think you're missing the most obvious one: Running. It is by far the most efficient way of staying alive longer. I do it a lot when outnumbered or faced by a clearly superior fighter. If you find you're being hit and taking a lot of damage, run for the hills!

We tried to rekindle the fires in Naeloth last year - sadly yet again everyone said "wow the idea rocks""
But no one turned up or tried to get involved or relocate. It is now the perfect spot for a player run town as housing spaces are abundant., |
