Awww bless ya Raul. Anyhow, the guilds who have their own forums completely seperate from everyone else are hardly in a position to point the finger about spreading the community thin, are they? Some people prefer UOForums, others prefer F4G, others prefer sitting away from both, every guilds own choice eh.

I disagree, it's not hypocritical for me to comment at all. If you build up a community on F4G and then withdraw suddenly, thats going to cause damage. Which is ultimatley what happened. Had Grd ever been part of that community and then withdrawn then yeah, it would be hyocritical - but we weren't. We maintained our own forums and community.

This isn't about guild forums though since in theory people from other guilds wouldn't realy make use of them. It's more about the D&D and such. There needs to be a central place for all roleplayers to come together, now they are divided.

I don't care too much, it doesn't affect Grd and I can't access the D&D anyway. But there is a clear need for centralisation and if this is the place it's gonna happen then let's make it here - but that would really need F4G to close their general forums. I doubt that will happen though.

If you really want to centralise RP, move the All-GM forum here and the rest will follow. Personally i reckon this place is the best for us, you only have to look around to see how many people are here. But truthfully it will never happen, sadly there are some who are scared to let go of there 'little empires' over on F4g and are scared to death of UO Forums.

OR, we just close down these general forums and move back to F4G? But that won't happen for the same reasons you say the F4G people won't come here methinks.

I personally think F4G is a much more sensible option to house General Forums. Whats the advantages of this place? F4G has a history of being the 'centre' of the community however and theres no reason to break that trend. Sure, some of us are banned but so what? We knew what we were doing when we made our respective posts.

We moved becuse this place have backups and alot of us didnt want to loose all our history once more.

As for the purpose of the thread... whats a name change gonna do when its already an ooc board that seems to be working as it should.

People discuss plenty of things here and even tho its not the most busy board perhaps it just points out that there is very few problems that needs to be discussed OR people are spending more time IN GAME instead of on these boards , which is a good thing .

F4g don’t ban people that fast. I know, i've pushed my luck there before. You have to push them fairly hard first before they ban. I know some over on f4g don’t like using these forums for whatever reasons but I use both because as someone said we are just splitting our selves and thinning it out more.

We don't need backups for a general forum, only for our guild forums. Klion has a point, f4g used to be the focus at least for ooc it still should be.

I dont see why f4g should be the focus of europa RP anymore.
