![]() | Re: What have they done with my White Wyrm! I like it a lot better. I never used to have a white wyrm simply because I didn't like the massive blob of white following me, now I may have to make a spot for one in my stable when KR comes out! ![]() |

![]() | Re: What have they done with my White Wyrm! I share the pain of the original poster. My very favorite creature of all time in UO (2D) was the dragon/wyrm/drake shape. Very galant, graceful and awe inspiring. Just the way the creature is shaped, holding head and chest high. Small refined face which enchants due to the slight similarity to how horses heads are shaped. The main flaw in the new dragons is the anatomy and shape of their bodies, which has lost all of the things which I described above. Some points in particular: - Big bulky head vs the old small and delicate one - Stiff looking wings which just sort of jut out, vs the old wings which are tucked back in a very natural and stylish manner - The wrinkly tail looks like a mummie's you-know-what - Those spikes are just... aaaergrgrgehfjodfdfjdö - The posture of the body - his head and neck should be craned up high, muscular and proud - now his neck is wimpy and his bum is just sticking in the air, and what a big bum it is too - He seems to be grimacing, the mouth looks very rigid - What's with the bony hand? - The horns don't bother me too much, but they could be smaller and so that they are aligned in a natural way with the ears - now they look like they've just been plonked onto the spot his ears should be Something good: The texture (aside those ghastly wrinkles) is pretty nice and natural I'm afraid I would not be proud to walk along side a wyrm looking like this. I'd feel like I'm trying to look macho or über or something. Not my style. But a lot of people here seem to adore it, so it's all a matter of taste I suppose, but this lassie will sure be saddened by losing her precious dragons and wyrms, that's for sure. ![]() | Re: What have they done with my White Wyrm! So what are people's opinions on the Bake Kitsune in KR, when i finally got KR to work i logged in, interested to see what the pets looked like on KR and was very disapointed in the Bake Kitsune. My first serious tame, my beloved fearsome Bake, looks like something Paris Hilton would keep in her handbag. Hope the powers that be rethink the art on this pet. |
