Next UO Meeting?

Anyone feeling rage toward another player needs to sedated - heavily. I might just turn up now, bringing along my disarming smile and a rape alarm.

Seriously been invited a few times to attend these meets (well back before, most of FAg.net branded me a twonk and unclean). I just feel its a bit wierd putting faces too characters, i mean id find it hard to RP with someone like Klion if i knew he was a spotty 12 year old kid.

Plus if you saw me, i couldnt make you believe in my Chuck Norris like kung fu skills.

well if I have plenty of advance notice to arrange for airfares and so forth, I could always... think... about showing up at one, but eh... me? at a RL UO Meet? umm last time I went to one was I think in 2000. and I ended up meeting my husband there. Nope, RL UO meets are dangerous I say, dangerous.

That must be a funny story. You didn't know your husband played UO and met him randomly at a UO meet?

Yeah, it is something of a funny story. I never met the man before that day, nor knew he played UO. We met for the first time at the meet (randomly), and didn't see each other in UO for some months after. We both had significant others at the time as well so it was very "hi,nice to meet you, bye"and nothing more. By the time that we finally met in UO, we had separated from our respective SO's (not knowing)

We got talking about the meet when we finally met in UO, realized we were both at the meet, and well, there was then lots of chatting and some more RL visits,etc Couple years later, we got married (it's now for ~5 years) and living in his country.... So yes, UO RL meets, dangerous *nodnod*

Strange how UO keeps doing that isnt it? I mean we also have Decardo and Cherry and Dargalin and Mel, both have kids now.
