If you were in an emergency situation and you had to deliver a
baby, could you do it?

I've never been formally trained for such a situation, and considering I've never had kids, I don't really know a whole lot about the nitty gritty details of child birth - so you should probably hope there's someone else around if you decide to go into labor in front of me

I could handle it in terms of managing a crisis situation, but I really don't know the "right" things to do to facilitate a successful childbirth

In the end Kit, it's a bunch of pushing screaming, yelling, biting and cursing, vowing to kill, mashing of hands pulling with the little stuff in between.

I was with my sister when Monkey Butt was born and let me tell you... she was pretty angry and mean

I might be too pushing a 10lb baby out, who didn't want to come out. I think I was more of wreck once it was over then she was.

For the record..If the mother is not having any problems you will not need to do much of anything. If she is having problems. You'll have time to get her to the hospital.

I was present for the birth of all three daughters. Could I do it, Beloved says probably. Would I want to, not likely.

i almost fainted when my son was born, and the doc said it was an "easy" delivery

might be a different story if it were a strangers baby though.
