Finally got one of the dreaded emails

Nope not the one for KR beta...

I got an email for the request made for my UO username that was connected to my email. That was a shock.

To be safe, changed my email and password.

great I'll have to check when I get home.........back a few months ago I was getting them daily and was very concerned.

Buddy Lee got hacked like that...lost everything on one of his accounts, house, doom arties, everything...about six months later i got the same e-mail request...changed all my account info like you did Ally haven't had anymore trouble since...hope they leave you alone as well

I have never reeceived one of those e-mails who sends them out can someone explain what i need to look for and what percations to take

It's a email saying to log on and change your password I believe. Except the link it takes you to is really a key logger. Then they can log in, change your password and take your stuff.

Never click on any link that you receive in emails. I always type in the site on another window.

The email I received came from customerservice@ea.com Same email addy that sent the confirmation to my new email address.
