Fizzles

So I just started playing today and decided to start a Mage. I'm fizzling 98% of my spells and for the life of me cannot figure out why. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

You are probably casting too high level spells for your current magery skill. Try casting lower level spells until you have learned more of the arts of magic (i.e. have a higher magery score).

To expand, cast spells 1 level lower than the first number your Magery is at.

Example: Magery is at 50, cast level 4 spells.
