The pet POWER rating calculator now includes an option to add your pet's skills.

Stats, resists, hit points, and skills are averaged to give you a POWER rating for your pet.

If no skills are entered, the calculator will base the power rating on the pet's stats, resists, and hit points.

Thought you were saving this for a weekend project!!!!! Will check it out as soon as I am able.

End result: Works great, needs a little tweaking (which might mean a whole lot of work.)

Thought #1. It looks like you went off one table of skills for the results. So a fresh tamed is weighed the same as a post tamed if you enter the skills.

Normally, the skills on a fresh tame will be lower than the max attainable DURING training.

For example, a rune beetle can ATTAIN 100% wrestle, but will NEVER be tamed with over 76.2 wrestle, due to the skill reduction post tame. In this case 76.2 is 100% for a PRE-TAME, but shows as 76% on the calculator.

So the selector for pre and post tame should key in on the max skill for each. That would be more accurate. When first tamed, the skills would slant the overall power rating up (if used, I LIKE that), and as training begins, the power rating will go DOWN until fully trained. In the end of training, the power rating will be normally HIGHER than pre-tame.

Gah, I need team speak, so I can explain this better.

So you almsot need two tables, one for fresh tamed, and one for post tame.

Wish i knew more about coding, so I could do more than poke at something which I can never do. So no strangling the baldguy!

OK here's what I did.

If pet is marked Untrained, max skill values are as listed on Vetmaster.

If pet is marked Trained, max skill values are 100/GM or max listed on Vetmaster for skills that can be born over 100.

Did I get it right?

Added another tweak to the calculator, which I thought would take a few minutes and ended up taking a couple hours! Yeeeesh!

You can now click a link to print a stat page for your pet. The printable page eliminates all the ads and whatnot, printing only your pet's stats and the power rating and % of max data.

Sounds right, or atleast, that's what I would have done.

The new tables work great. Thank the great electron that we have VetMaster. Imagine what it would be like if we did not. UGH.

Hmmmmmmmm, Kit, is the printable page 'pasteable" into a Uo book in game/ Copy from page, paste into book?

You can copy/paste into the books, BUT my thought is that the number of characters across in the books is WAY low so things would probably wrap funny. If I were to paste anything into the books it would be the shortened version of the power ratings (the ones that show up under "Powr Ratings (% of max)."

That might fit well enough.

On vetmaster, it says that rune bettles can have 140 posion and 125 eval, is that before taming?
