Deadly shooting at US university

Another terrible incident being reported on currently at BBC World News

At least 20 people have been killed
and more injured after a gunman went
on the rampage at the campus of
Virginia Tech university in Virginia, US.

It always makes my blood run cold when I hear of you having these kind of things happen.

I noticed even when in Canada the approach to common day things is very different. When stopped by the police in a car you have to keep both hands on the wheel and they approach with one hand on their own holstered firearm.
Thats even on our military base there as we have Canadian Royal Mounted Police there. !!!!!!

I am glad the uK is very tight on gun law, but guns are becoming even more commonplace nowadays unfortunatly

This actually hits close to home for me. I have several friends from my area(Northern VA) that have gone or are going to VTech. I'm in the process of making phone calls now.

Has to be an automatic weapon. When are we going to ban the sale of automatics? Sure as hell don't need them to hunt!

For that reason alone is why I have a CCW. I am not going down because of some sick person like that.

Really sad it happened, and hope everyone on here didn't lose a loved one or friend!

It's horrible events like this that make me sick to my stomach.
