I recieved an email, saved/scanned it, and nothing nasty was found by Norton. So I went to the site and inputted the info requested. Now I'm having second thoughts....is this legit or did I just make a monsterous mistake? Here is what was in the e-mail minus the link:

If they asked for your pass and stuff, and your really worried go change your account pass and stuff.

They never asked for password, but did want the account name and email addie, as well as my name, age, address, ph #, and computer specs.

Well not sure if this means anything but I have two accounts that are over 9 years old and I didnt recieve an email like this

Now I'm really getting nervous, and no beta letter code or forum invite yet either. *cringes*

With your email address and account name, they can sometimes get your password via the lost password feature. I know there was a bug/virus with Yahoo accounts that allowed this. Is your email a Yahoo address? (Don't answer here!)

I'd change my password ASAP just in case, if I were you. (For email, too, if it's yahoo).

Also, didn't the devs say earlier that beta invites were NOT going to be solely based on account age?

I've rerun virus scan and antispyware progs. I have nothing to do with Yahoo email! Changing passwords too. Checked the message source in the email, appears legit from ea.com ip. TY!

That is actually the beta letter I recieved 2 weeks ago.. I never did hear anything, but that may have to do with me being a "volunteer" on a fansite. I checked the links in the email and they were legit.
I'd not worry, I'm not.

It says you were invited....you might not be accepted though...alot of people were getting invites but not being accepted into the beta..just have to wait and hope you get in!
