What are the new limits on

HLD
HLA
all 3 leeches
fireball
harm
lightening?

I am postive the bottom three are 50% unless it is an arti/marti . Leeches can now go up to 100% if I remember right. I believe HLA & HLD is 50% too.

The Leeches are based on weapon speed now I think. So something slow like a Lance or a Heavy X-bow could get up to 100% of a leech, but something fast like a Dagger probably cant even hit 50%. unless its an arty, as Vepl said.

Leeches work differently now.

Haven't paid attention to Stamina, but Mana and HLL can get up to 100%.

The % is no longer the chance the leech will go off, it goes off everytime if the weapon has the property, the Leech % is the possible (you can leech anywhere between 0-amount of HLL) amount of _________ (HP or Mana) which will be leeched (still uses the old base formula of leech something like 40% of damage dealt).

I.E. Using 50% HLL you hit something for 50 Damage, take into account your possible Leech effect is the 40% damage dealt (20) you will leech anywhere between 0-10 HP. (50% HLL of 40% of 50 damage = 50*.4 = 20*.5 = 10)

This was explained in a Five on Friday. Let me look it up.

4. I like some of the changes for PvP in pub 40, but you left in one of the most glaring problems: hit procs like hit lower defense, mana leech, etc. Any plans to address those anytime soon?
MrTact: Yes, we want to look into those, we just ran out of time. My current thought is to scale the amount of the effect based on the speed of the weapon, so a consistent amount of the effect is applied regardless of how fast your weapon is.

5. Can you explain the recent leech changes?
John@EA "Wilki", Community Coordinator: The old method used your leech % as a chance for the effect to fire each time you swing. Each time the effect fired, you would get 40% of the post-resist damage inflicted back as mana, or 30% back as hit points.

The new method uses the leech % as the top end of a range. The amount of that 40% of mana (or 30% of life) that actually gets delivered is randomly determined -- from 0 to your leech %. This amount is added every time an attack hits.

The resulting effect is that the amount leeched over time will be less -- from a little bit less, for slower weapons, down to about half for fast ones. However, because it will deliver smaller amounts continuously, hopefully it will not feel like the ability has been nerfed dramatically
