So barring Peerless and Paragons, what is the most direct damage you could theortically get hit for by a mob?

You might want to bar a little more than that.

Examples: Getting Blood Oathed against the Dark Father, with EEO/Consecrate/Lightning Strike Critical with a Double Slayer Weapon will hit YOU with the same amount or roughly 300+

Other example could be wearing nothing with Protection cast on you giving you -15 Physical Resist and letting a Balron hit you. I'd guess somewhere around 150.

The Minotaur Champion has hit me for over 200 damage when I'm full 70's with an area of effect attack he does. He killed over 20 people all at once with this attack.

I thought of the Blood Oath thing last night when some Guild Chat was coming through from some folks in DOOM. So lets bar any "damage reflect" or a mobs way to increase damage through spell or skill.

With the dificulty of even summoning Meraktus, we'll shelf him too. Heck, Ill even make a mental note to never even attempt to summon him with that little bit of knowledge.

Maybe a Meer Eternals life drain attack? I know that hits pretty heavy but I dont see any stats on it.

An AW can hit for up to 182 at a whack where Balrons cap at 155.

Rune Beetles have a Eval cap of 125 and an INT cap of 450 so a Flame Strike from them should be pretty durn high...

The whole reason I brought this up was determining how important 70 Resist vs. say 63 or 65 resist would be on average.

Yeah, he was a pain to summon. Took 20 people roughly 2-3 hours to do it. He is probably the hardest champ in the game to kill because of the fact that he has that AOE attack that kills everyone. He killed everyone there a couple times all at once, but luckily we had people who could self res then do noble sacrifice.

The Bedlam champ is also quite difficult to summon because of the closed quarters. The third level spawns Grizzles and dread lord spawn and when they die they spread out acid on the ground that hits you for 40+ everytime u walk over it. The acid also degrades the durability of all ur items to 6 so do not bring a warrior/archer if you're planning on doing this one.


Aside from those areas, I think I got hit by a Shadow Wyrm for 80 or so, but nothing except the Minotaur champ has been able to kill me in one shot.
