![]() | G'day. Sorta new here. Hello everyone and yes im from australia and no we do not ride kangaroo's to work. Now that we have got that out of the way .Recently ( a few days ago) your forum inspired me to create a uo account, it really is a game i have been interested in but never had the time to pick up on in the past. And well... I cant seem to find much of anyone around, and well i dont seem to know what im doing for the most part yet hehe. Just wondering if anyone could give me a few tips for playing my warrior that i have created. If you want to that is, not many people to really party with and chat with in the areas im in at this time so its a bit disheartening. Is their some special place where you all like to hang around? ![]() Anyways now to figure more out hmm ![]() |

Just like here in Texas we all own oil wells and ride horses everywhere! lol What shard are you playing on? Have you tried heading to Luna yet? Being a new player is hard. I had forgotten exactly how hard until a RL friend just joined. Just trying to explain to him how to open doors, walk around, all that good stuff was an issue.... he is used to playing WOW. ![]() There are a lot of good people around here. I am sure once we know where you are, you won't be stuck there alone long! ![]() We are all broken and wounded in this world. Some choose to grow strong at the broken places. --Harold J. When people start waking up around here you might find some company lol. Oceania is the server that is local for you I think. If you stick with LA, you will probably be playing while most people here are in bed. ![]() We are all broken and wounded in this world. Some choose to grow strong at the broken places. --Harold J. Usually people hang out there for whatever reason.... bank sitting, selling or looking to buy goods, gating to their vendors. Kind of a social hot spot. ![]() We are all broken and wounded in this world. Some choose to grow strong at the broken places. --Harold J. Duarte-Bernhardt |

![]() | Re: G'day. Sorta new here. Welcome to UO! If you're playing on LA server, then you're most likely online when people that are local to LA are either at work or asleep! And LA isn't a highly populated server anyway....but there are lots of people from UO Forums on there, and plenty of housing spots. Oceania would be your local server, and you'd probably find plenty of people from Australia and NZ to hang out with during your peak playing hours. A lot of the Asian servers are close to your local time too, but unless you speak Japanese, Korean, or Chinese, I doubt you're going to find people to hang out with  Kylana |
