Re: swords and skills

To use the 2ndry skills you need actual skill, but I think you have that already at 109

Re: swords and skills

On the bottom right hand side of your paper doll is a bluish/purplish book you double click then just drag the primary and secondary skill out. There you can just double click to use any of the skill. Now UO has macros for primary and secondary abilitys so you dont have to double click.

I hope you are using the 2d client, the preferred client by most of the UO player base. If not, switch immediately!

1. Open your paperdoll.

2. Select options.

3. You will see tabs on each side of the options gump. The bottom left tab is the Macros tab. Click it to get the Macros gump.

4. The gump is fairly self-explanatory. There is a place to input individual keyboard keys, with the option of adding CTRL+ or ALT+. For your primary and secondary weapon skills, I'd choose the F1-F12 keys. There is a menu of available macro commands; click and drag down in the command area to scroll down. For the weapon skills, make a macro for Primary Ability and another for Secondary Ability. I would also make a Bandage Self macro, since you are a warrior and likely use bandages. When you finish making your macros, be sure to click the Apply and OK keys before you exit the macros gump.

There is less lag in 2d, and it is the original UO client, so you can see the game as the devs originally intended. 3d is no longer being supported by the devs, new content is not being added to it, and it will be the first client to go when UO:KR is released.

Re: swords and skills

It is just personal preference on 2d over 3d.

We just might need to find someone who uses 3d to tell you how to set up the macro. Guessing I would look for an option tab on your 3d paperdoll and look around
