Carl when you first came to these forums you were an inquiring mind who just wanted to help and get help too, which is great. However I have noticed that after you have joined Cyn your attitude has changed. Don't let that happen. The pvp world that Cyn tries to take part in on atlantic is a cruel and messy one that can change your perspective on the way you view other people in game and out of it.

No one here is trying to be closed minded or not trying to think out of the box. We always welcome new ideas and are also open to all types of people. Basically what it comes down to atleast with this particular thread was that he wanted to know if a necro fencer is a good template for pvp. Off my own experience and the experience of others, I concluded that it doesn't work well and I was advising not to waste their time. You certainly are allowed to have a different opinion, but to call people close minded because they are trying to give advice isn't the proper way to go about it.

Anyway, with that being said, if we could just put this behind us and bounce ideas off of each other allowing ideas to spread that'd be great. If I have offended you somehow, I apologize, and I would still like to share ideas with you and everyone else in a calm and friendly manner, sans condescending attitude.

necro fencer is an okay temp for yew pvp...although with no ninjitsu have fun excaping from a dismount gank...

Also you will not be able to res yer guildies...except if you have chiv maybee can res blue guildies thats it tho.

Not the best team-oriented temp imo, and i have allways hated necro dexies, and don't let me guildies play them too much lol

They really did a number on me and I quit, I'm sorry. I'm looking for a solid UO experience and I couldnt find it with them. I appreciate everything you have to offer on these boards Merc it has taught me a lot. Im sorry that I was poisoned with hate.

No worries man, it's all in the past. A lot of the "pvp" guilds on atlantic tend to cater to more player hating and trash talking. Their style of play and behavior is more of a 1st person shooter type of genre. There is so much paranoia and deception involved with VIP, LNR, Cyn, DEI that they will screw over newer guildmates at the drop of a hat to get ahead.

Just play the game, enjoy what you're doing, and never take it too seriously. A lot of these guys in those 4 guilds live and breath UO, and I personally wouldn't want to involve myself in that. I'm glad to see you saw the light about Cyn, they are a terrible guild and poorly run. I hope you enjoy your time on Atlantic, it can be really fun if you just take a more relaxed approach to it

I have Recently Started a Char on Atlantic simple nox swords pali. Does any know any good guild on atlantic for a new to pvp player that is new to Atlantic ?

There are a pleathora of guilds you can join there Morgawr, but the 4 I just mentioned are geared more towards people who are considered "elitist" in pvp. Granted most of them aren't that great, but there are a few that'll boggle your mind.

I have heard good things about H0T. They're a guild that pvps and does merchanting for gold so they can show you how to get rich as well. There are also a few pvp guilds that are based out of yew fel that you might be interested in, but those types of guilds are more griefers/pk's than pvp.

And as always you can try LLTS. We aren't a pvp guild by no means, but we're the oldest and largest guild in all of UO. We play more just to make friends than to pvp, but we do that too. We've actually been getting some great talent lately, and have been able to kill several of the "elite" pvp guilds out there on several occasions.
