Yep! It was an innocent time, a time without responsibility or a care in the world, a time when I was... 15 .

I think I wrote it after beta abruptly ended and OSI announced they were releasing the game shortly thereafter. Ahhh, good times, good times.

Meanwhile: someone asked about why the time seems to be different from what they remember. UO's "time" management has changed more than once over the course of the game. For instance, originally, Designer Dragon said he wanted the game time to never be the same between a 24 hour RL period. This would keep players from always seeing nighttime if they played at the same time every day at home. Eventually, the way time was calculated shifted, and shifted again, and so on and so forth and finally it just got boiled down to 2 RL hours per Britannian day.
