Re: Chiv/Mage ?

Healing via chiv is no good if your a mage. But its helpfull to give you extra damage to your melee skill. But you can simply use Heal spell.

Re: Chiv/Mage ?

We have a chiv/mage in the guild who positively wipes the floor with just about anyone. I know he has chiv, magery, med, eval, enough swords to use a cleaver (I think it is the cleaver anyway) to use the infecting strike, spellweaving (at 0, but he is a human so just uses the spells for no skills) and resist. If you like I can ask him how many points in each skill.

Re: Chiv/Mage ?

If you have magery above, I think, 70 the casting cap on chivalry becomes 2/6. Magery casting cap is 2/6 reguardless. However, I personally don't think this matters a great deal. Chiv healing is incredibly fast at 4/6. But if you time your spells correctly, then you shouldn't be fizzled just casting a normal heal, level 1 magery spell.
