Well your all fools for dropping party anyway, the stuff you get is never as good. Keep the party, loot it up and roll for the stuff in a house when your out. We tend to do 3-4 Lady M's at once, no point kitting out, to go and do just one.

Re: Changed Looting Rights?

What happens, and I'm surprised nobody mentioned this. You click on Mel's corpse, and you get the "no rights" messege, just hit your last object macro, and it will instantly open it up. This has happened to me on god knows how many Travesties and Mels.

And Unsupportable, remember not everyone goes to these things with premade groups. Alot of people will go as pick up groups, and dont necessarily trust eachother enough to let 1 person loot and roll afterwards. So it's not a fair judgement to call everyone fools for doing a peerless this way. Would you trust someone who picked up the group at Luna bank after spamming "need people for peerless" to handle the loot and divy it up? So try to be a bit more understanding of other's playstyles.

Re: Changed Looting Rights?

I hate going in groups of people that I can't shout at in Vent. Everyone tends to die if you go with people you don't know. I used to go with randomers, but now I only go with guildmates, or I go with randommers and make sure that there are enough of my guild there incase they all die. We have been know to go with randomers, not res them, loot it up and run. Thats not exactly honorable but nevermind.

That is common and if you don't have luck dismounting, log in and out quickly and then you can open the corpse. It happens all the time to me. I immediately log in and out quickly and gather my loot. Good Luck I hope it works for you. Works for me every time

Re: Changed Looting Rights?

Works like a charm everytime. No need to dismount/remount. When doing so, it changes your last object, so just go straight for the corpse with last object macro.

LOL, Man that would stink. But it is what it is, if you don't know who you're going with then you could have a really crappy time. =p

Dropping or rolling doesn't make a difference in what the loot is tho.

What truly will effect your own personal loot is the luck of the person that did the most damage and of course how many people are splitting the loot. And that is goes for whether you roll or not.

Depending on how many ppl you have rolling tho, it could be said that you could do another peerless in the amount of time you're taking rolling. And how does rolling work with "not exactly honorable" ppl anyway? =p

Re: Changed Looting Rights?

You only roll on the loot if you trust the people. So guildies etc.

You buy dice from a Provisioner, each person rolls once or twice, decided between you. And the highest score wins. The highest scored person gets first pick of the loot. The next highest gets 2nd pick and so on. After averyone has picked it goes back to the start and they chose again. This continues until no-one wants anything else.

So it no longer depends on who does damage etc. This is better if you go with two tamers and two mages to keep the pets healed, as the mages won't be doing damage, but they are still needed to finish the peerless.

This is how we decide who gets power scrolls at a spawn. Because people that play reds can't hit the champion under normal circumstances. And power scrolls are only given to those that hit the champ. Unless you count the 105's that you get from killing spawn.
