Re: Lets talk equipment...

And there is always the buffs trick, Use reactive armor and magic reflection to add +5 to all elemental resists. You won't lose any physical. I think you need GM scribe to do it though. I stone off a skill to put the scribe on, then cast the spells, and take scribe off.

My dexxer suit uses mace and shield glasses. Thats the only artie she uses, I'm saving up for an ornie though. Not doin too well atm, keep spending it.

Personally, ure better having resists over 65 with mods, then all 70's without mods.

My dexxer suit ain't all 70's and I do well. You need 70 fire resist. (Thats a must.) 70 physical is needed for non PvP.

My favourite armor pieces:
Hats:
Kasa of the Ra'jin
Mace and shield reading glasses
Brightsight lenses

Gorget:
Pendant of the Magi
BKit armor

Tunics:
Carapice (nothing else will do, unless you've got good bkit armor.)

Arms:
BKit armor all the time, no decent artifact arms available

Gloves:
Stitchers for mages
Stormgrips for dexxers

Legs:
BKit armor all the way - Embers have no mods on them but I do use them for resists when I can afford.

Shield:
Aegis
Shield of Invulnerability
Chaos Shield 1/2 version

Totem:
Totem of the void
Primer on Arms

For the record, all those pieces won't make a good suit if mixed together, you need to get a good mix of mods on each piece to make a good suit. Armor needs to have over 60 resists ideally if its a bkit piece. Thats an average of 12% per resist. If you have 6 pieces with 60 resists on each, you can easily achieve all 70's withh good mods. Note the resists on the Kasa, they bump a suits resists brilliantly. But the mods aren't great, 12 sdi.
