Because of expectations, V-day just means another opportunity to mess things up so it can be used as leverage against us in the future...just like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I dread these days just like dreading dentist visits.

I think Valentines Day is about acknowledging the people you love and how much they mean in/are apart of your life. Of course Flowers are always a added Bonus!

I agree, but not everyone has that same view point...some women have greater expectations that lead to disappointment.
