PaxLair is in the midst of its week-long 9th Anniversary Celebration. Each day from January 14-18 is nominally earmarked for a particular city. Each city has events and tours. January 19th is the official PaxLair Anniversary date and will conclude with a speech from the Governor of the PaxLair Statehood.

The current schedule is:

Sunday, January 14 - PaxLane

2:30 PM ET - 9th Anniversary Start - Official signing of PaxLair into Statehood
-- Location: PaxLair Mage Tower, PaxLair City
-- Host: Winfield
-- Mayor Winfield takes on the title of Governor of PaxLair.
-- Appointment of Viceroys to Mayors at this time, or throughout the week.

3:00 PM ET - "Favorite Moments in Britannia/Sosaria"
-- Location: PaxLane Tavern, PaxLane
-- Host: Sibelius
-- Come and talk about your favorite moments in the Realm!! All are invited!! Any kind of "moments" are welcome, no matter how evil or good. Become noted for your experiences! It's VERY informal, so come and have a laugh and drink plenty of ale with others!
-- Appointment of Viceroy Sibelius to Mayor Sibelius of PaxLane.

Monday, January 15 - PaxLair City

2:00 PM ET all afternoon - Casual gatherings
-- Location: Luigi's Pizzeria Outdoor Cafe, PaxLair Survival Shop, all around the city
-- Come meet people in PaxLair City

3:00 PM ET - Arena Fight
-- Location: North Arena, PaxLair City
-- Host: DutchessVanHorn
-- Fight Rules: Wear only clothes (No robes or clothes that cover where a suit might be. No resist armor. No looted weapons. Your weapon will be made before the tournament. You may pick what type of ingots and wood your weapon will be made of. This fight will go against pure skill and experience. This will be a double elimination tournament.
-- If we have time, we may do some pet fights for the tamers.

Tuesday, January 16 - Port Baldmor (1st Anniversary)

4:00 PM - 12:00 AM ET -

-- 1) Drinking contests and gambling

10:00 PM ET - 9th Anniversary Grand Ball !!
-- Location: Museum of the Virtues: PaxOku Annex

-- A festival of races at this Grand Ball (good, evil, neutral, mages, necros, archers, tamers/pets, etc.)
-- Usher in the "Age of Enlightenment"

Ah, thanks Silverfoot - Guess I have to change my title to Governor. It went into effect last Sunday afternoon, January 14, 2007. Oh my, that means my fishing trip is cancelled now -- even more to do!
