Saw II and Saw III

I missed Saw 1, so have only seen Saw 2 and 3

Has anyone else seen either of the last two? If so, what did you think of it?

I didn't think much of it, yet people rave about it like it's a great film

Second one I found annoying because they're all "trapped" in this building/house, yet no one thinks of pulling the boards off the windows to escape? Or is that just to easy? lol

Re: Saw II and Saw III

I don't think picking up watching the Saw movies at #2 would be beneficial. I really think you have to watch the first one first to really get the second and third. The third you could enjoy by itself, minus that fact that you will not have the "Ah" factor when the story comes to conclusion.

But without #1, #2 would seem like it was pretty poorly put together, but if you had seen #1, you would have understood that even pulling the boards off the windows would not have been the answer.

Re: Saw II and Saw III

I saw one and two. I was quite unimpressed (despite the fact it has some actors I quite like).

If it didn't have so many people raving about it, I'd call it watchable and decent. But it definitely does not deserve the raves it gets.

it's not that intelligent, and it's not even that fun or interesting to watch.

Give me a more intelligent movie like Audition or Silent Hill or A Tale of Two Sisters over Saw any day.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention...

(these are just my opinions)

1 by itself would be good.

2 by itself is garbage, it's like the middle of a story, stuff with nothing around it.

3 by itself would be good.

In your case Arjuna, you did not complete the whole story. I think 3 made seeing 1 and 2 better.

I always wondered where you learned to be so evil.

Learned it! I practically wrote that script. Most of it came from watching you.

Dip, it is truly a pleasure knowing you in real life, but I have looked you in the face and seen Pure Evil looking back at me.
