I just returned to Uo recently and made my first necro char ever. After some casual dueling with my friends, I realized my strangle Stinks!
The max it got it up to was like 7 dmg.I was told Strangle can do up to 20 on its first tier, yet everyone I ask has no idea how to do it, like its some big secret or something. I tried corpse skin,evil omen,painspike..I had a mage cast curse, then I did strangle, still nothing! If someone could help I would really appreciate it. :cheesy:

Strangle increases in potency as the victims stamina % drops. So a dexxer real low on stamina will be hit harder then a mage low on stamina.

So i guess I would need a high stamina leech weapon,and are there necro spells that drop stamina fast?

Stamina leech will not affect them. They will lose stamina while taking damage. So strangle probably shouldnt be your first spell cast.

My main warrior is pretty much immune to strangle because he uses a Blade of Insanity which means he leeches a good amount of stamina every time he hits.

Leeching doesn't really mean taking the stamina from the person he hits, but it does mean that a percent of the damage he does is returned to the hitter as stamina healing.

Pain spike is a more widely used spell for necro's as well as evil omen and corpse skin, and never forget the blood oath.
