I have a pvp char in the works, his poisoning is at 80 and fencing is at 109 currently. I know you need a combine total of 200 pts between your weapon skill and poisoning to apply dp, but since I am at 109 fencing that is only 189 pts combine, I figured I could apply greater poisoning to my blade and hunt but when I do the mobs that I fight don't get poisoned, why? Only thing I can think of is that my combine pts aren't high enough.

When you use the special move "infectious strike" they don't get poisoned at all? and what are you fighting when trying this?

At your skill lvl you will/should inflect them with what ever poison on the blade. You also have an 80% chance of inflicting one lvl higher poison then on the blade.

But since there is poison on the blade can't they get poison without using a special move?

NOPE. Only with infectious strike will they get poisoned last...last time I checked.

What I am getting at is that if I got my blade poison from someone with gm poisoning and I do not have poisoning on my template I will only be able to inflict lvl 1 poisoning?

Say I have been stiked with DP will greater cure pots cure this 100% of the time, if not whats the sucess percentage?

I have not heard of Greater Cures "NOT" curing DP and even LP. One of the complaints from poisoners. Nullify 100 skill points with a pot

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but greater cure isn't 100% for DP. I don't know the success rate, but there is a chance for failure.

They took out all the cruel and unusual pleasure I got when I Deadly poisoned someone.
