Duped robe rehue bug. Just sent it in.

Just noticed with the duped robe recolor. My player statue is wearing an original Hooded Shroud of Shadows on Siege. We made a Player statue of him, Now the hue has gone from the original 'Jade" coloring to the new monks robe brown. Shows on the paper doll of statue and on visible statue.
I'm looking at it now with a different account.
All coloring is fine on original char.

Not game breaking and the actual color on the statue looks better :-P

Yeah, I saw about this not long after the pub.

I wish those statues actually showed what you have on. Instead of "a Talisman" have it say "Totem of the Void" or whatever tali was being worn, you know?

Sorry to hear that silverfoot. Just a guess. The code sees the shroud on the statue as a "dupe" since it is a "copy" of the original. If that is the case it could take a while to fix.

Don't get me wrong Velp, I don't mind it. Like Kettle, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more detail. Just the first time I actually saw it.

Not to sound goofy, but I just started playing UO again after about a year break and man things have changed.... But how do you make a player statue of someone?:embarasse

The "Statue Maker" is a 6th year reward, I think.

From what I gather, you select what material type it uses when you select the reward and then when you use it, it will make a statue of the player that uses it and you can select from 3 different hues of the material and 3 different poses.

Youd have to redeed the the statue (turns back into a "maker") if you wanted to change the char or pose or whatnot.

This is only what Ive gathered and inferred about them from the different posts Ive seen about them, so it may not be totally accurate...

Your right on Kettle. You can make your own statue, redeed it (It originally comes as a "Stone block" after 1st use it goes to deed form. At the museum we use the "restore" function to get to the previous statue and then place. So the sign then will say:
Se'an Silverfoot (Original maker)
Sculpted by Kh'arlin (House owner placing using restore feature)
