Never really thought about someone else playing on my chars. I think Id be more worried about them taking the chars out and getting them killed constantly than anything else...

Main account? I'd never sell the Eowyna account--not that anyone would ask for it.

I think thats part of the reason I never really thought about it much. Nobody would offer me 200 cents for my acct

I have seen first hand what happens when someone destroys your accounts reputation. My best friend quit earlier this year and sold his account to this dude we know. He had 6 fully developed characters with great gear and whatnot. Well this moron(I'll just continue to call him moron throughout the story) said all he cared about was the archer on the acct, since that's all he could get his tiny brain to play on, so we stripped the acct of all his stuff, cause he was only being offered $150, and he had close to $500 or so on the acct. (we left the archers suit intact, w/jackalls, bane, crimson, dryad bow, mace and shield, etc). He also got his spare acct with it. It had 2 18x18s combined between the 2. Well moron managed to take this acct, and destroy it. He managed to get kicked out of 3 of the biggest pvp guilds on Baja,(by giving each new guild, the last's map/vent info) turn his char red by rezkilling(earning himself a fantastic name on the shard) and eventually getting ran off the shard. My friend spent years earning a repuation as someone who helped new players in tram, as well as being a pretty decent archer(if thats even possible) only to have all those years of work be reversed in the matter of a week.

I would only EVER sell my acct if I was completely quitting, and not having any chance of my alt acct seeing those chars running around. Luckily my friend didnt come back cause he probably would have just went on a shard searching quest to kill Moron endlessy and making a career of it.

I could easily sell my alt accounts as they only hold houses and resources for the guild ,which I could easily hsnd over .Id NEVER ever sell my main ,Tabbitha , account as like MAddux says I could not bear the though of anyone running around as her aand ruining her reputation .

I rarely do much more than log in to patch the game anymore. And that is quite sporatic even. The only reason I haven't sold out is because I have many years of time invested, as well as many fond memories of times past with this account.

But, I get off topic. This account also has a load of semi rare items, several high end items, and many many other desierable items..... The collection of treasure maps alone is enough to make even a pnon serious hunter drool, over 600 maps, most level 4 and 5 just taking up secure space in the tower. Along with the piles of materials for crafting, reagants, gems, ect. I woldn't be able to sell out for a mere 200 bones.

With the history I have as being Ralcor, I have a hard time even selling out for much more than that. I suppose if I were to completely wash my hands of it, I would quite possibly sell all the assets minus the characters then delete the characters before closing the account. I don't think I could stomach somone else taking my hard work and filling the shoes of Ral or Ricc.

But, Im sentimental like that. Ral has been me for going on eight years now, he is older than my kids!

i am new to this forum...nice to meet you all.the other day i bought a 64 month old account.the guy i bought it form had all red chars.he was in one on the biggest guilds on legends,when i logged on i was confronted by all the other guildmates.they said that he didnt tell them he was selling his account.long story short,they said that he borrowed alot of stuff...most of which is why i bought the account to begin with.they made me give them all of the stff back.what do i do...there was 3 inquisiters res,6 ornies,4hats of the maji,and about 7 ecru citrene rings
