I have 5 pretty complete templates but only play with 3, now:

1 is a blacksmith, tailor, crafter etc etc
1 is my pally/warrior
and the other my tamer

i am looking to make my self a PvP character and also wanted him to be a crimson character, hehe and wondered which one would be best + i have a list of skills I have which i could use and swap via soul stones....

My tamer is: 110 taming, 110 Lore, 100 vet, 100 magery, 100 Eval, 100 Necro, 100 Spirit Speak,

my pally/warrior is: 110 swords, 110 tac, 110 parry, 100 Anat, 90 Chiv, 90 Heal, 90 Resist Spells

and obviously my blacksmith does not matter, but the skills I have spare from the other 2 characters i don't play are:

110 Swords, 110 tac, 100 Anat, 88 heal, 100 lumber jack, 60 bushido, 75 parry and some 100 focus...

now i was thinking maybe taking magery and that from my tamer? all my pets are pretty much maxed out on stats and bonded especially my Cu Side, and maybe if my tamer had: 110 taming, 110 lore, 100 vet, 110 Swords, 110 tac, 100 Anat, 90odd heal? so that i can sorta defend my self while using my pets? i just don't know? or maybe that would be foolish?

any suggestions with this mix would be very helpful, cause thinking about it my tamer has real low dex like 25 hehe

I never PvP w/ tamer but I can guess problems you may enconter.

I hear that PvP tamers have problems if they go red getting their animals. The problem that may come up is that heals can only go either to pet or you and if pet dies you are toast. In a 1 on 1 you will prbably be ok but in a gank situation they I have seen people pounce on pets all at once. Also you have no defense so you may be running away and havng your pet whacked while you are saving yourself. Also pet combinations are a factor. CU's move sloooow and a drag nightmare combination hit hard but you are on your feet. Bug and nightmare hit hard but bug gets smoked fast and again you are on your feet.

I you want you can drop tactics for M/R if you do not want to be paralyzed as much or get parry for defense and get jewels and such to hit the damage cap.

Maybe instead of swords you can get a bow and pick away at them or go on your feet dismount them and have pets chase them.

You can also keep magery and E/I and and get wep skill

A lot of possibilities but not sure which is the best. Not sure if I was helpful but if you find a really good template let me know and I may try it myself.

I've tried PvPing with my old uber tamer. Had archery, its all rather pointless though. Tamers take up 300 skill points and more for pet. So thats 400 left. Try makin a good PvP temp with 400 Skill, not possible. To be honest man, you need a dexxer/mage to be sucessful in fel on my shard atm. A good template might be:
Swords/Fencing/Macing 120
Tactics 80
Parry 100 (upto 120 with older acc.)
Chiv 80
Bushido 120
Magery 100
Eval 100

That way you have evade and parry, If you can get 120 Parry/Bushido/Magis Resist on your template you'll be hard to kill, very hard. But then your lookin to only have 6 skills, so in addition you'd need Tactics/Wep Skill/Chiv-to heal. Its pretty shard dependant, due to what ppl are using.

If you want a dexxer try:

120 Anatomy
120 Swords
120 Tactics
120 Resist
120 Parry
110 Healing

I use that in PvP all the time and with the right amount of mana and LMC I hardly die, sure I could drop some of those down and pick up Chiv or something, but I do great w/o it.
