Sunday Harrower on Atlantic
Posted on Sunday, October 15, 2006, 7:57 PM EDT by Aia (Atlantic)
Word reached me of a public Harrower. *grins* I had to check it out. So for this roving pvp report, I was on Atlantic! On Atlantic, public Harrower times arent posted, the Fel community learns about them by word of mouth. I heard about the Harrower on Lake Austin, but no one knew what time it was going to start. So I hit the star room. Luck was with me! I arrived just after the skulls had been dropped. Tonights dungeon for the Harrower party was Shame! *yuck* Shame is at the top of the list of easily defendable dungeons. The Harrower always spawns in the third level and the drop down tele from 2nd to 3rd level can be set up so that it becomes a whither grinder. Whats a whither grinder? Imagine dropping down into the middle of six reds whithering. Now add red mages eqing, meteor swarming and fielding and there you have it. Not much fun when youre the one trying to get in, but hella fun for those defending. I expected Atlantic to go the grinder route, but the pvpers of Atlantic mixed things up. Heres what happened DEI and VIP! were the first two guilds (that I saw) starting to fight it out on level two of Shame. VIP! won that fight and their guild started to roll in and set up defenses. I must say, getting revealed in front of that many reds is not a good thing at all. *kisses smoke bombs* With so many reds on this side of the bridge and knowing there were more on the other side of the bridge, it made me wonder if anyone would attempt to raid. Of course they would - and the raiders were destroyed. But the raiding forces were just getting started. Their numbers had increased and they were gearing up for another go. In they went and they crushed VIP!. They made it across the bridge and all the way to the second bridge but VIP! rallied and pushed back sending the raiders scurrying back the way they came These back and forth battles went on quite a while. After an hour, I had to leave. But before I left I checked up on the Harrower Oh yeah, this Harrower was going to last Atlantic a good long time. Good fights everyone! More...

Re: Sunday Harrower on Atlantic
This a Felucca only thing? Because if not I kind of stink at playing UO so I would NOT stand a chance hahaha! Maybe if in Trammel sense it is "simpler" but Fel I here the NPC's can be wild because they tougher... and oh yes... the reds too hehe...
