turning rare wood into boards

I can't figure out how to turn those rare woods i found into boards. I have some carpentry and no LJ, (my other char does the LJ) Do I need both if I want to be able to do it?

I believe that you need the requisite amount of Carpentry that you would need to make something out of the wood.

You could always chop them with one char and make them into board with another char if thats what youre asking...

Only need the Carpentry skill to do it, so they both don't have to be on the same Char.
