As soon as I can get an internet connection in the damned house. It is a malign paradox. The people in there before signed up with bulldog or something who want far more than other potentials for the connection. We tell them to cancel the line and they say they shall and yet suprise suprise 3 weeks on they have not done so. BT could cancel the line, but want £100~ for the priveledge of an engineer doing 5-10 minutes work swapping two cables. BT then go on to say they will hapilly send an engineer for free if we first cancel the line with bulldog.. so its kind of an endless cycle of incompetance made worse by my reliance upon the dubious interlect of those who also dwell within castle-samsca.

In theory it should have been done by now, in practice it will likely be another week or so.. who knows. I am coming round to the view of just paying bulldog even if they want something like twice the going rate. Might have to phone them and see how much they actually want for the requirement that is the internet.
