*swats Bo* That's just mean!

I made decent money grooming pets, but I'll never do it again if I can help it lol. Talk about a dirty, thankless job! I did more then just dogs and cats too. I had a trio of guinea pigs who were regular clients. Did you know they can't swim? So, if you have an urge to bathe your guinea pig in a sink, be careful... We also had ferrets, a huge rat, and a couple of parrots who came in too. Imagne trying to keep everyone safe and happy, in a very small shop.

Well I am a proud dog owner, never really was a big fan of cats...I just always assumed thats the proper way to wash a cat.. But in all seriousness, nobody has ever experienced a real dog washing until they have washed a St. Bernard. Me and my dad rescued one from the Humane Society 2 yrs ago, and let me tell you, he was a BEAST. He was about 180-200lbs and 60 of it was in his jawls. We brought him home and washed him up, but we decided lets do it in the dog pool (basically a 12" high plastic pool) and we were absolutely SOAKED. It was late Sept. so it was gettin cold and we paid for it with colds the following weekend. This dog slobbered up to the roof it was soo bad. Next is trying to bathe our great danes before the winter hits. That will be NO treat...

Bo: ROFL! Too funny! I have a cat that is spoiled rotten if you'd like to try it? But I warn you... he is SO cute with big yellow-green eyes. You may not be able to go through with it. Just let me grab a camera 'cuz that would be a Kodak moment.

I am always willing to put a kitty in its place..hehe..I just can not find it anywhere, even in the darkest softest part of my heart to find any love for cats...Always been a dog man always will be. My mentally handicapped border collie/lab/retriever, Harley, is my #1 pet. She has this look that is sooo blank, that people fall in love with her, but dont realize that she is just staring VERY blankly at you, it is not a sad sobby look, but a very blank, glazed over, dee dee dee look... She is a 95lb pig on twigs. Its hilarious. I dont even know how she is able to run..hehe. I am going to hell for letting her get that fat..

If I can, I will get a picture of her up here. She looks like an old cartoon dog figure. Big fat body with tiny little stick legs. She is really just not all there. Although she is one of the best dogs I've ever owned. She listens well, she is great with kids. That of course is because of the fun torture she had to endure as my pet. There were times where she's sound asleep and I throw a toy at her, staring contests in which she tries to lick or bite me to try to win. Endless play sessions where I tie her feet up, or tie her tail to her leg. Stuff like that. She has been around kids and they can basically pull at her and she just has fun with it.
