Blackrock & House Lock-Downs?

Does anyone know what the deal is with locking down blackrock in your house as deco? Does it really disappear? Oh.. and what about storing it in your bank or otherwise? Thanks!

I have some locked down as deco in my place. It hasn't vanished yet. Altho, I have it raised above the floor with an inteiror deco tool.

I only have one 'treasured' piece hehe which I am too scared atm, to lock down anywhere ,so mines inside a pouch atop a piece of white cloth *grins*

I have had it locked down, stored in secures, and stored in the bank. Seems to be ok in all three. It hasn't yet begun to corrode holes in my floor. hmmm....

well, I had one locked down in my house, and now I can't find it... that's why I ask..

My pieces are kept in a locked down container and i have had nps so far.

The big questions when you cant find a lock-down:

1. Are you sure you locked it down?
2. Are there any co-owners that could have grabbed it?
3. Was it locked down on top of another item? Could it just be under that item and unseen?
4. Was it locked down on the floor and could be in the "basement?"

The "basement" option has happened to me twice in the past and a GM has come to my page and retrieved the item. I thought that the issue that caused was fixed, but I could be mistaken.

thanks, but I even tried the CTRL shift thing to see if it popped up that way and it didn't
