| Black Rock Tests
source taken from UO.UHall Hello All!
This thread is for all you people who have done tests with/on blackrock.
Please post what you've tried and the results so we don't duplicate and waste our efforts trying something that's already been tried.
Also a note...someone PM'd me about thier body parts after being blown up casting armageddon. It seems that they are getting the parts that look like looted ones, not like the old school ones...and we are wondering if it's because he's elf. If anyone has gotten body parts different then these....
Please let us know.
Things I have personally tried with blackrock..
Using Scissors...This cannot be used to produce anything
Using a bladed item...use this on corpses to get meat and hides
Casting all necro/mage spells on it/with it/around it...no results
Gave it to the conjurer in Haven Castle..he took it but that's it.
Tried to give it to the wisp summoned after casting Armageddon..she didn't want it.
Your turn! and I gave one to a jeweler before we found out it was a waste!
I tried all the spells from U6- no results
'Casted' Armegodon spell and have varius results: Blew up, summoned a wisp, and some pretty explosions with no result uther than loss of fame or karma.
Tried crafting all but jewelry with it.
Tried giving it to a lot of NPC's only result Larisa already stated, that and Inu does not like it.
I might have tried other things but cannot remember off hand. and I've tried:
1. Reciting various words of power on a rift (spent around 3 hours last night, and will continue to try more over the next few days).
2. Handing it to wisps/dark wisps.
3. Casting all sorts of spells on it.
4. Smelting it with a mage/smith
5. Handing it to all the Gargoyles in the Gargoyle City.
6. Holding my head in anguish while repeatedly clicking on it, hoping it will do something

Has anyone tried saying "Ni" at it?
| That's odd, I don't remember "Ni" being a Word of Power... maybe it's a Paladin word? I'll go look for some knights who say "Ni" I think its a Monty Python reference. Knights who say Ni
The Knights are led by a man who is approximately 12 feet tall with disproportionately short arms and tree branches inserted into his helmet (played by Michael Palin standing on a ladder). The other Knights are of normal human dimensions and act as a chorus, only repeating words and phrases which the head Knight has spoken.
"Ni" is only the most notable of the sacred words which they are assigned to protect; the others being "Peng" and "Ni-wom". All are infamous for the palpable horror and fear they bring about, whether delivered by the Knights or not.
The Knights demand that King Arthur bring them a shrubbery in order to pass through a patch of woodland which they guard. Later, they become the Knights of an odd string of syllables. The saying could be spelled this way:
Ecky, Ecky, Ecky, P'tang, Zoo Boing! Goodem-zoo-owli-zhiv.
Because of the challenging pronunciation, King Arthur simply refers to them as "The Knights Who 'Till Recently Said Ni". Originally, the name was to be changed to "the Knights Who Go Ni... Whom... Ping." |
