Hiya, just a quick question. Are IDOC's based on a timer? So, for example, if I'm watching a "Greatly worn" house, and it goes IDOC, is there like a 24 hour timer that goes off so that I can basically time it when it'll finally collapse, rather than just camp it out for hours?

after the house actually hits IDOC there is a 6-8 hour time from when it when IDOC that it will fall. Every other stage is on a 24-36 hour timer if I remember right. Either way from the bottom stage it takes about a week to fall.

what I would like to know is how the same people seem to be able to find any idoc...I just find random ones around me, but I guess they make their UO money from searching tirelessly for them?

Some travel looking for IDOCs daily, others use a unapproved third party software that locates IDOC's for them.

it's a golem you program to search for you while you can train your wep skill on it at the same time

Well on legends we have a guild over there called "Freeholders Across Legends" aka [FAL] and they are an IDOCing guild. Some people make roleplaying guilds, others focus on PVP. Well FAL is a guild that does nothing but IDOCs, that's it, they scoure the shard daily looking for new ones making runes, finding timers, all that good stuff. The leader has even gone as far as to make a rune library of all the houses spot available and houses standing on the shard and he checks as many as he can per night. It's something like 300+ runebooks of just housing spots, I know I made the runebooks for him lol.

Then there are those others that use a 3rd party program that give the loc of the IDOC and you pipe the cords into UOAuto map and it shows you right where it's at *shakes head* I dislike cheaters.

I myself I just run around like a chicken with my head cut off until I find some lol.

you and I both...I just hate how the ones I have found have vendors and when it is IDOC....POOF....like new
